OPEN EVENING DATES
If you’re thinking of coming to study at The Studio or you’re a parent wanting to learn more about what we do here, then come to one of our open evenings.
You can either attend an open evening in person at the CUC Building where you can take a tour around our building, meet our students and ask our teaching team any questions that you may have.
Or, you can attend an online open evening with a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This is a quick and convenient way to find out more about what we offer and to ask any questions you might have about our curriculum.
We will be sharing our open evening sessions with Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, who share the building so you will also get a chance to see what science and health tech things the UTC students get up to.
- In Person Open Evenings for September 2025
- Virtual Open Evenings for September 2025
If you would like to attend an Open Evening, please click on the date you wish to attend and complete the form on Eventbrite. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you to The Studio!

Or you might be one of our budding tech tribe and be looking for things like Maths, Computer Science, Digital Information Technology.
You will also benefit from a coaching programme, enrichment activities and wellbeing which will help you become a rounded learner and in great shape for your GCSEs at Year 10.
Why join us in Year 10 for GCSEs?
If you choose The Studio School, you will most likely be thinking about a career in a creative area – so being able to take a combination of photography/ art/ creative media/ graphics/ film GCSEs could sound appealing.
Or you might be one of our budding tech tribe and be looking for things like Maths, Computer Science, Digital Information Technology.
You’ll also benefit from project-based learning, a coaching programme, enrichment, wellbeing and careers education. You will benefit from shared experiences, work with a wide range of businesses and local universities to help you prepare for the future.
We don’t take students at the start of Year 7, like most secondary schools, which means you can choose to join a bit later on, when you’ve decided it’s the right time for you to pick a more focused option.
Not having students in year 7 or 8 at our school means we can be more grown up in our approach. It makes the building feel very different to what you might have experienced before. And most importantly, we can offer a more focused curriculum.
KEEPING IN TOUCH
After you have completed your online application you will get a confirmation email. It is very important that you check the link to confirm your account. We’ll then keep in touch via emails and texts, so please remember to check them regularly – we don’t want you to miss out! And you’ll receive updates with the exciting things that our current students are taking part in, so you have a taste of what to expect when you join us.
We know that for some people this is a long process, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch throughout the year if you have any questions – big or small.
Your first point of call for any query is our admissions team. You can contact them at: [email protected]
