Students Advancing to Prestigious Universities
Mika
Mika collected one grade 8 in Maths, two grade 6’s in Physics and Further Maths and a D* in Engineering and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Sheffield.
Mishelle, starting at the Studio in Y12 Mishelle already had exceptional drawing and painting skills. However, she really wanted to challenge and push herself in the other areas of Art & Design. In Graphics she overcome her frustrations with digital illustration, producing work of highly developed ability. Mishelle went to UCLAN to study Illustration in 2024.
Ellis studied Art, Graphics and Lens Based Media where he showcased exceptional story telling through comic books, animations and exceptional concept Art. In 2024, Ellis progressed to study Animation at Leeds College of Art and Design.
Whilst Teo in 2024 secured a grade A* in Graphics, two As in Maths and Further Maths and a D* in Engineering and received an offer to study Architecture at Cambridge University.
Students Who Secured Degree Apprenticeships
Seth
Seth secured a highly sought-after Degree Apprenticeship with PWC in 2024 and was awarded a double Distinction star in scripting and programming (Cambridge Technical Level 3 IT – Application Developer Pathway). During his time with us at the Studio, Seth has developed a significant skill set, including software and mobile app development, and has earned AWS certification through the AWS Academy program we offer.
Another student, Jamie earned a prestigious Degree Apprenticeship with Sellafield Ltd, achieving a double Distinction star in scripting and programming (Cambridge Technical Level 3 IT – Application Developer Pathway). While with us at the Studio, Jamie acquired an impressive range of skills, encompassing web development, mobile app creation and applying Agile & Scrum methodologies within complex subject related projects. Additionally, Jamie earned AWS certification through our AWS Academy program.
Employment After Sixth Form
While the majority of our students progress to university, we recognise that higher education is not the preferred path for everyone. For those seeking direct employment, we provide tailored guidance, industry connections, and career support to help them secure meaningful roles in their chosen fields. Our strong employer partnerships have enabled students to secure positions at leading companies, including Heron Care Ltd and the Ryanair Group, demonstrating the effectiveness of our career-focused approach.
