Studio Art Students Featured in Liverpool Exhibition

Students from The Studio experienced a taste of life as an exhibiting artist as their artwork was commissioned for a law firm’s city centre launch party earlier this month.

Paul Crowley & Co Solicitors celebrated the launch of its new office with a gallery of artwork on display at its city centre celebration on 1 Old Hall Street.

Artwork of Liverpool’s iconic landmarks proved to be the perfect backdrop for the firm’s landmark move in to the city centre. Guests were impressed with the creations which illustrated iconic buildings such as the Liver Buildings and Radio City Tower.

The students used a variety of mediums to create the pieces of art, including paint and pencil.

Gill Durnan, art teacher at The Studio said: “The Studio students have repeatedly demonstrated themselves to be wonderfully creative individuals and opportunities such as this provide a great platform for people from the wider community to engage with our talented artists.

“Students are really keen to display their work to a larger audience and the excitement this experience creates, motivates them to reach for the highest standards.

“We are always interested in developing links with external parties that provide support and exposure for our students’ developing portfolios.”

Senior partner Paul Crowley, said: “Displaying The Studio’s artwork of iconic Liverpool landmarks was the perfect way to celebrate our new city centre location and expansion. Everyone was impressed with the standard of the art on display and it proved to be a great talking point at the event.”

“Working with The Studio has been a great way to involve the local community with our launch and offer a unique opportunity for its students. It’s been a pleasure working with the school and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”
