Congratulations to all of our Studio School students for an incredible set of GCSE results this year. Our initial results indicate that:
- 55% students achieved a level 4 or above in English and maths GCSE and 29% students achieved a level 5 or above
- 56% achieved a level 4 or above in maths GCSE
- 67% achieved a level 4 or above in English GCSE
- 100% secured level 4 or above in Art, Graphics and Photography
Jill Davies, The Studio Principal, says: “It has been a wonderful morning, such a fantastic opportunity to celebrate with our Year 11s. Students have worked so hard and achieved excellent results. Their efforts have paid off and we’re so happy that they can now move on confidently to their sixth form choices.”
Standout results include Rosa who secured 9 in English Language, 8 in English Literature, 9 in History and in Film. Adam achieved a 9 in Physics and in Graphics, an 8 in Computer Science and a Distinction in Engineering. Joshua secured 9s in Maths and Combined Science, 8 in Spanish, Distinction in Engineering and a Distinction* in Sport. Evie secured 8s in English, Maths and Film. Millie achieved 9 in English Literature and in Film, and Cerys who scored a 9 in English Literature and an 8 in English Language.
