When joining the Studio, it was such a new school, I had no idea what to expect from the learning environment. It turned out to be an excellent atmosphere for doing really groundbreaking work, which I hadn’t even dreamt of in my previous school. Not only were we learning things that were on the syllabus, we also learned from real-world mentors who educated us on the digital and creative sectors.

One of the best aspects of The Studio is the community of teachers, students and mentors who all come together to support one another. The digital sector is changing quickly, so it’s important to have the people who are working in it day-to-day providing feedback on the education.

I’ve launched a company called LaunchCode Digital – it’s a digital marketing agency, which means we work with other businesses to build websites, mobile apps and strategies to help their marketing efforts. Our clients come from a range of industries, and our only selection criteria is that they have big growth ambitions. Without the support that I received from my peers and teachers at the Studio, I wouldn’t have been able to start my business and make it a success. The school was accommodating and supportive from the very start.
